Welcome to aficionada
This used to be a collective for Birgit’s fanlistings.
The collective started out November 04 as ImpassioNet, but since Sep 05 it has been placed here at aficionada.org. My best online friend Jen has also been an important part of this collective - she still has a section for her joined fanlisting up, but she decided to leave the fanlistings community at the end of Feb 08. We also ran a separate collective for kawaii themed subjects - this domain (kawaiifanlistings.org) and most of its fanlistings are now maintained by Sara.
Aficionada is the female form of the word aficionado, meaning someone who is a fan of something. The collective has housed multiple fanlistings - over 100 at the most! - spanning several categories, though mainly Food/Drinks, Movies, Literature, Lifestyle and Objects. Jen and I have been lucky to be approved for fanlistings for our most valued interests, and have had great fun in building, adding to and maintaing the sites.
As of October 2008, the site is under renovation, making room for my new interest: doll collecting - Pullips and bjds in particular. Please sit tight!
